I love these strings.

I just bought a 10 pack and have already broken the high E string 3 TIMES in 4 days in the exact same spot (Right at the bridge where it is clamped to my Floyd Rose) That's right, I have had to replace the high E string 3 times in 4 days!!! I don't notice any particular dulling of the sound compared to uncoated strings, but on an electric you're just a knob twist away from brighter tone anyway. These strings have a slightly different feel than a traditional uncoated string, so they take a little getting used to, but the longevity is amazing.
