Most people would say Syndicate because it didn't massively fuck up at release but I think they are both equally bad but in their own respective ways. 1- The engine is not well optimized. I played both and I like both. Unity was ahead of its time graphically. Far Cry 3, Blood Dragon, and 4 ran fine on PC. They had to did something if the wanted to avoid the same fiasco that Unity was on PS4. Unity looks fantastic, but overall I liked Syndicate better. I kind of got burned out on Assassin's Creed a few years ago, but I'm thinking about getting back with either Unity or Syndicate. Also, the frame rate is really stable in Syndicate. in syndicate they are in their homes/jobs. Where the hell did all those people live? You call PC players elitist. My main criticism of Unity wasnt because it was 900P on the PS4. Its clunky controls and face-removing glitches plagued the PCs and consoles of its owners at release, and after returning to it recently, I could see that some frame rate issues and subpar parkour moments still persisted. Overall terrible protagonist and forgettable city and characters. Zero logic and zero consistency. I played syndicate after unity and was immediately turned off by the cheapened graphics, shitty grappling rope, the drab grey and brown color scheme of the game, and the combat is absolute shit because it's just like ACIV, just wait and counter and you'll win, yeah, when I looked at syndicate gameplay after unity, I was like wtf. Coming off the back of Unity and Rogue, Assassin's Creed Syndicate had a low bar to reach, and because of it, it did pretty good. Probably my favorite since the Ezio Trilogy. So I would say ACS is the better game, even though I do have a lot of soft spots for Unity and personally like a lot of the things that it does and that I consider better than Syndicate.
