'Atmosphere' was on a 16-track, and it was the first polyphonic synthesiser that I got, which was a [Solina] string synth, and a Bontempi organ from Woolworths, and I used to play both of them together, and I couldn’t believe you could get a synthesiser that could play more then one note. Yet another vote for the MS20. JD could well have been opposed to synths as a sound philosophy, but it's long been reported that Bernard was/is a huge Kraftwerk fan.
