The bathroom was good, my only complaint being that the towels were a little scratchy but I would certainly stay here again. EVER..Front desk was a bit tight to line up for check out but staff was friendly..Lots to see & do within walking distance of Hotel. Being a busy season in Quebec we have booked a room in Clarendon having paid a premium rate.Room was indeed very nice with super comfy bed. We are really proud to be the oldest hotel still in activity in Canada, since 1870! Once again we enjoyed staying at the Clarendon. The location is within walking of everything in the Old city and can't be beat. When we showed our original confirmation with price tag on it the receptionist with basically told us that this is the way it is in Quebec and they do not show the full price as the taxes are not yet known at the time of booking! Staff was all very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was ok size also, but sinks were outside in the bedroom. of the Grande Allee. I might add that we recently changed our coffee machines and all of them are now Keurig machine. Of course, we do recommend our own restaurant and I am pleased to inform our clientele that we have a new menu to display!As for the parking, it is possible to drop the keys of your car at the concierge. Large flat screen TV, Keurig coffee maker, cd player, two bathrobes in the closet, free wi-fi with password given at reception.

Very nice hotel and we really enjoyed the jazz duo on Saturday night but I've never stayed in such a strange room.

Built in an Art Deco style, the hotel offers a selection of regular and superior rooms with impressive views of the Old City. The room price was not bad based on Quebec standards, underground parking across the street was 17.50 CAD and although the hotel provided breakfast it was not free.
