It looks like the cables are connected properly but it still says to check the adsl connection after I type in my identification number and password to register. from what you sent me so far, I'd say it looks like an account problem, but do need to complete the "test de mire" to be certain. It worked fine for the past year and has now decided to not connect properly, my PC says it has an excellent connection but I can't log onto the net, and the box is flashing at me, rather than having a solid light. i have called France telecom on several occasions to which they say they have fixed it and i must wait 5 working days for it to be active. Little Miss Fluffy. I tried logging onto the website and after testing my line it said my internet was "desactive" and when I tried to reconnect it just timed out. This is the English speaking No...0800 364 775. not sure if they will help with internet, I think it's for france telecom. My solution was Broadband in France an English company pledged to sort out problems with France Telecom. In English..? Got the recorded message for about 10 mins and then got through to a guy who spoke good English.

I sent an e mail and no reply. Every other month I have been billed for 0899 premium rate services. Try and get someone in France to order (Handy/Landlines/with or without Internet connexion are all available to order and subscribe to ONLINE!

Last year we lost our adsl line,it took a French speaking friend 45 minuntes to convince the 'technician' that it was a line fault and not some configuration error on my pc,they agreed to send an engineer,who never arrived but the line was re-established 10 days later. Constant recorded messages saying, "All our lines are busy". In Orange, we can help you with any doubts you may have in English, French and German. FT helpline suggested entering in a pin code which I assume will need to be entered for all external calls. I went away for Christmas and when I came back it was in this flashing state, so I am not sure whether leaving it on for 3 weeks unused was the problem (although it was fine for 2 months over summer).
You will not be able to connect to the Internet if the "@" light is flashing as that indicates either a synchronization issue on the line or a login failure with your account credentials.
