I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from ASU and a Bachelor of Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Theology from the Pontifical College Josephinum. I taught Latin part-time at St. Thomas the Apostle for 3 years while working part-time at St. Mary’s Catholic High School. I live in Crystal Lake with my husband, our children and our family dog. After graduating from St. Thomas, I went on to Brophy College Preparatory for high school. As a Phoenix native, I feel so blessed to have attended Catholic Schools in this Diocese preschool through university level. It is my hope that I both prepare my students for high school and instill in them a love for reading and writing. I joined Saint Thomas the Apostle in 2016 as the Preschool Director. Building on our growing reputation for excellence, we opened our Sixth Form in September 2015. Mrs. Mary Coffman, MA, has served as principal of Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic School since 2008. I have my MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University. I feel very blessed at Saint Thomas; not only do I work with the youngest students at our school, I also work with the student leaders of the junior high as Student Council Moderator.

My family moved to Arizona from California in 1962. Currently, I teach math to first through fifth grade students. She holds a Masters of Arts degree in Education with an emphasis on differentiated instruction. In addition to my administrative duties as assistant principal of St. Thomas the Apostle, I also teach Honors Algebra to eighth grade.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Family Resources and Human Development from Arizona State University. We are a Pre-K through Grade 5 Roman Catholic elementary school which embraces many faiths, cultures and ethnic backgrounds. We are an outstanding Catholic secondary school for boys with a co-educational sixth form located in Nunhead, South East London.Our progress 8 score of +1.0 places us amongst the highest performing schools in the country, with our students consistently achieving almost one grade higher than expected in each of their GCSEs. She was raised by parents who worked hard to give their children the gift of Catholic education as students of Saint Nicholas of Tolentine in the Bronx, NY. I was born in New York and moved to Phoenix when I was 9.

I taught in California and then took a position in sales for 10+ years. I received my Master’s degree in reading at ASU. I was a student here for Kindergarten through 8th Grade. I have 4 wonderful children, three who are STA graduates and one who is currently an STA Junior High student.

I am currently teaching 6th grade Language Arts, and 7th and 8th grade math. I have been part of the St. Thomas community as a student, parishioner, parent, and teacher.
