Complaining, Grumbling, Whining, Murmuring — What Does the Bible Say? SOOOO… what do they do???….. Of course, the usual suspects made the list at first; I was very general at the start, but the more I got into it the more specific I became with my list, and it was astounding the joy I could find in the smallest things.
How long will they REFUSE to BELIEVE me? in the wilderness they put God to the test.
He still performs miracles in our lives today. The LORD asked Moses how long will these people treat me with CONTEMPT? Isn’t that wonderful?? Korah was correct in saying that the whole community was holy, and the Lord was with them (at least that was God’s original intent), but his inappropriate ambition and warped thinking about Moses and Aaron living a life like the pagan priests in Egypt was TOTALLY a LIE from the pit of HELL!! TODAY is the perfect day to begin. Regardless of how much we believe we have hidden sins, secret sins… GOD KNOWS OUR SIN… confessed and unconfessed… public or private… from years ago or from a minute ago…. and of Aaron, who was consecrated to the Lord. Take a moment RIGHT NOW to thank and praise God for HIS love for you and all the ways HE has blessed YOU… spring flowers…. God knows our sins. Then the glory of the Lord descended upon the Tent of Meeting and again the Lord was ready to kill the remaining Israelites and start fresh.
