Im using a VPN as well. My wife and I play this and we're on the same network and this is the only time it happens. I then added my friend on the xbox console companion which also did not fix anything.

I submitted a ticket to Halo support and received a reply on the 6th saying that they were reviewing the information and I would get an update shortly but I haven't heard anything back from them. We played all the campaigns without any problems so far and this is the first time this happens... dunno why.
I thought it might be due to the steam and window's store difference so I also purchased it on steam.

I've tried turning relays off, restarting my internet, forwarding ports, turning the windows firewall on and off, reinstalling the game, installed both the Steam and Game Pass versions of the game and both got the same error.

This is the weirdest issue I have encountered on PC, for some reason it only afflicts certain people and occurs randomly. we then get disconnected with a message saying connection interrupted.
I did end up finding a few threads about this as far back as 2017 on the console version of the game, but they're all dead threads with no fixes or dev answers, so I'm not really confident in this being fixed.

It usually happens after the loading bar fills up on a big team battle match. II have figured this problem out after days and days of trying and searching for a connection interrupted glitch the problem was a load time time-out error, because my game was loading quicker than my friends the game was disconnecting us as a way to fight poor connection issues. me and a buddy of mine are trying to do halo CE co op and every time we try we get this issue but if we both try it by ourselves its fine. start the app and up at the top it should say that it needs to install important services to play some games. we've looked around quite a bit for about a week or so and still can't find an answer. This did not fix the issue. Try restarting your internet modem. I even completely wiped my main drive and reinstalled Windows.

Luckily halo combat evolved maps work but not the halo reach maps. i'm worried my game is bricked. I tried verifying game files and installing langauge packs. Disabled both windows firewall and my paid antivirus firewall and I still have the same message. For me after resetting the modem it works for 2-3 games before going back to "connection interrupted" every game. so i finally fixed this same issue after getting this stinkin game a couple months ago. let it install it and then you should be good. Nope, the only solution for me was to run a VPN every time I play. What I did end up trying was disconnecting my router and using the internal one built into my modem.

Then we wanted to continue a few days later and couldn't finish mission 7 due to the connection interruption. I can't even refund this game. Could I please get some help to fix this problem? we've looked around quite a bit for about a week or so and still can't find an answer. he transferred his game to a SSD for faster load times and it has solved our issue. when I've been trying to do match making. I'm having the exact same issue with the added bonus that sometimes it will connect me to random servers that aren't near me and then proceed to kick me for high ping even though there clearly are many servers available with low ping.

My router is a Netgear Nighthawk X6 and is in perfect working order besides Halo MCC not working on it.
I even attempted to launch the game without anti-cheat and relaunch with, logging out of windows store and launching the game, and restarted my router. Is anyone else getting this error when loading into a match? This also did not change anything.
