It’s a strange moment for this show, but I really liked it. We learn later that she and Strand worked it out as a way to save Dorie from suffering the same fate. It also bothers me that they do so while wearing short sleeves / tank tops without any protection. It’s hard for me to get behind Virginia as a big bad villain. As they’re talking, Virginia and Strand come into the room. The plan is to take over the place and escape. We’ve also blessedly left the do-gooder days of Season 5 behind us.
That night, after Strand and co. came back from their warehouse excursion, Charlie plays a song that Daniel taught her, which seems to reawaken Daniel’s memory momentarily. So Strand changes the plan—clear the Walkers, take control of the outpost, and use the weapons against Virginia. Michonne has her sword.

When he kills them and peels them off the body, all he finds is legs and guts. good point but i think the op means to use the spear like morgan and you the head to stab head at a distance, you can get light weight spears that are only 1.5 meters long. Like, nobody thought to put on gloves when they go a-stabbin? With the warehouse cleared of Walkers and rangers, it’s time for them to get what they came for before Virginia arrives. A machete would probably be one of the best zombie dispatching weapons.

Marcus (Justin Smith), one of Virginia’s rangers, tried to force them to clean up his shit, but the two wouldn’t budge. The head may be simply the sharpened end of the shaft itself, as is the case with fire hardened spears, or it may be made of a more durable material fastened to the shaft, such as bone, flint, obsidian, iron, steel or bronze (or other type of stone or metal). And the mysteries remain when the credits role. “Welcome to the Club” played all of its cards well and is a worthy follow-up to “The End is the Beginning.” I guess it’s safe to say that the show has been redeemed and is finally bringing back the elements that made us love it in the first place.

I wasn’t so sure after last week’s excellent season premiere, but season 6, episode 2 gave a brilliant follow-up and setup to what many now call as the show’s return to form. We know Virginia is covering something up but we don’t really know what or why. Morgan is in the best shape we’ve seen him since The Walking Dead’s “Clear.” Alicia is once again being set up for a brand new moral dilemma. Holy crap. And what better way to prove that by impressing the wide-eyed maniacal leader of the misconstrued survivors? Oh, and by the way, “Welcome to the Club” also happens to be Lennie James’ directorial debut for Fear, and I couldn’t help but be amazed at the fact that he helped steer this great episode to the right path. I feel like a couple people with a pointy stick each could remove the entire zombie threat.
And the mystery of the titular key also remains, as this new group—now two members shorter—looms on the horizon.

All that being said, I really liked this episode. If they keep following the comics as close as they have been your question will be answered! Now, that deal isn’t as clear as how Strand describes it, but we all know that he’s a conniving motherfucker who would do anything to save his ass.

Last week’s episode had a lot of great character moments, but was dragged down a little by silly contrivances—walkie talkie overkill, the antibiotics on the roof, that sort of thing.
I’m curious also, especially since it really can’t be a door or normal lock as you’d imagine there would be some kind of work-around, like picking the lock or breaking the door down.
Strand, it turns out, told Virginia he thought Janis was a flight risk.
The only thing that Daniel could do for Strand was to offer him a St. Christopher’s Medallion, which symbolically protects its bearer from the burden of burdens. He confronts both the rabbi Jacob and Strand. It all ends with Strand easing up to his newfound position and doing what he does best—screwing over the people that care about him.
